Kaitlin Hay is the President of Epic Solutions and Analytics , a leading cannabis testing laboratory in Los Angeles. As a native Angelino, Kaitlin has played a pivotal role in shaping the regulatory landscape for cannabis testing labs in both the city and county of Los Angeles. Her dedication and efforts have made her a pioneer in the city's cannabis testing industry, where she has worked tirelessly with regulators to advance the industry.

Kaitlin's diverse professional background has been instrumental in her success. Her expertise in marketing and real estate has enabled her to effectively navigate the complex web of state and city laws, overcoming regulatory hurdles to secure an annual state license for Epic. This achievement has positioned Epic as a trusted and compliant partner in the cannabis industry, benefiting clients who rely on Kaitlin's experience and knowledge to streamline their processes and interactions with state and local regulatory agencies.

Before leading Epic, Kaitlin served as a Director in the Human Resources space, where she honed her skills in recruitment and team building. She holds a Master's Degree in Education from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Southern California. Her educational background has equipped her with strong analytical and communication skills, which are essential in navigating the dynamic, and often challenging, landscape of the cannabis industry.

Hetika Shah is the Vice President of Epic Solutions and Analytics, bringing over 15 years of experience in business administration to the forefront of the legal cannabis industry in California. With a deep understanding of the complex financial and regulatory landscapes, Hetika has successfully guided the company through the myriad challenges posed by this rapidly evolving market.

Her nearly decade-long tenure in C-level financial positions has equipped her with a robust knowledge of the banking industry, essential for navigating the often stringent financial regulations that impact the cannabis sector. This expertise has been instrumental in ensuring Epic Solutions and Analytics remains compliant while maintaining financial health and fostering growth.

Hetika holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mumbai, which laid the foundation for her impressive career. Her commitment to continuous self-learning and professional development keeps her at the cutting edge of industry trends and regulatory changes. Andrew Pham, M.Sc. is one of the most prominent leading figures in the cannabis testing space. It can be said without hyperbole that he is one of the foremost experts in the country in his field.  Andrew has worked at multiple cannabis testing labs from the ground floor, having the experience and expertise to establish laboratory testing operations from conception to operation. Our Lab Director has received awards for his work in our field, one for contributing to review and development of standardized testing methods through AOAC International’s Cannabis Analytical Science Program, and another for his work on Cannabis DUI programs from American Chemical Society’s Cannabis Chemistry Subdivision. He serves on multiple expert review panels in AOAC’s Cannabis Analytical Science Program, as a member of the Cannabinoids in Hemp Expert Panel and as the chair of the Chemical Contaminants Expert Review Panel. Through his work he played a foundational role in publishing two of the very first standard testing methods in cannabis for both cannabinoids and heavy metals. He is also a member of the technical committee for the United States Hemp Authority. He has been legally qualified in court as an expert witness, testifying in over 40 cases involving cannabis DUIs, clandestine extraction operations, and hemp-derived CBD legality. Andrew is the author of two peer-reviewed textbook publications by Springer entitled Nutraceuticals in Veterinary Medicine and Cannabis Laboratory Fundamentals. Andrew completed his master’s thesis on cannabinoid prodrugs under world-renowned cannabinoid expert Dr. Alexandros Makriyannis at the Center for Drug Discovery at Northeastern University. Andrew works to leave a legacy in cannabis education, as he believes it is the best way to combat the political, social, and economic injustices brought on by cannabis prohibition.
