Potency, in the context of cannabis, refers to the analysis of cannabinoids - the primary constituents of cannabis that are responsible for its physioligcal effects on the human body. Potency results are reported in both percentage and milligrams per gram, allowing for both consumers and manufactuers to have a clear idea of the amount of cannabinoids in a product. Epic Solutions and Analytics uses top-of-the-line Agilent Instrumentation, utilizing High Performance Liquid Chromatography coupled with a Dioade Array Detector for spectral confirmation and analysis. Potency testing is more than just d9THC. We can analyze your product to provide a full spectrum of all quantifiable cannabinoids in a variety of matrices in cannabis and hemp. Our customers can choose from the standard 14-cannabinoid panel or a custom panel that includes “designer
cannabinoids,” aka the more exotic varieties derived from hemp and other emerging markets.

Our potency is analyzed using a high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC-DAD). We oer potency for both California State Compliance testing or R&D testing that is available to any member of the public 21 years and older. Be sure to ask us about other phytocannabinoids and derived cannabinoid products including HHC forms, d10THC, etc.
